Good clean fun

My sister, Lori, and I clean an office building for some extra cash.  Its a medium sized building, and cleaning it takes about us about 2 hours.  Today my husband wondered why, when the cleaning takes 2 hours, I am always gone for at least 3 (many times 4) hours when I go clean.  So today I took note of exactly what we did.

I left home, stopped at the store for some Diet Mt Dew and a "cleaning energy" snack.  Made it to the building, we let ourselves in.  Had a seat at the front desk while we ate our snack.  Lori checked her Facebook page.  I doodled on some sticky notes.  Lori checked email (her computer is messed up at home).  I drew some more lovely pictures.  Then I had some fun pasting the pictures together using the envelope sticking glue stuff.  We laughed about a funny picture on Myspace.  We looked up what Lori's baby looks like RIGHT NOW.  I surprised Lori with a sneak attack of the envelope sticky stuff on her neck.  By this time, approximately one hour had passed and I decided we should get to work.  We worked earnestly cleaning the bathrooms and washing some dishes.  Then  we moved on to dusting.  We dusted the top floor and made our way back downstairs.  Found a stash of Jolly Ranchers on a desk bowl and fished out some of our favorite flavors.  Kept up the dusting until we got to the next office.  We worked awhile and then sat down and discussed the funniness of the I Love Lucy Show for about 30 minutes.  Got back to work and finished the dusting.  Lori started vacuuming while I got the mop bucket ready.  I messed up when squeezing out the mop and got water all over the floor.  Tried to fix my mistake, but the floor was still wet.  So we had to stop and debate whether or not it would be safe to vacuum the wet floor.  After all, we didn't want ruin another vacuum, did we?  Decided that it should be fine to vacuum and we got back to work.  Vacuumed/mopped the rest of the building until we got to the front desk.  Sat down and discussed churched for 15 more minutes.  Got back to work, finished with everything.  Lori wrote out my check, we got our stuff together, and went home.  I was gone almost 4 hours.  I will have to let Chris read this, so he'll know what we're up to.  I love working with my sister.  We really have the best time!
